Plant visual inspector
Your tasks
The Plant IV 100% Visual Inspector will:
The Visual Inspector will be responsible for inspecting tires from the curing presses, verifying each tire is free of basic anomalies, making small repairs or corrections to tires, and directing the tires to the correct palletizing conveyor.
- Receive and inspect, through the senses of sight and feel, the inside and outside of all cured tires to determine acceptability in accordance with company standards of Quality.
- Responsible for following all standard practices, and perform all work necessary to promptly and accurately obtain quality and quantity production, follow plant Safety policies, Plant policies, Environmental policies, and keep work areas neat, clean, and orderly.
- Tires must properly stamped and/or marked, then programmed (both acceptable and irregular) into their next process, maintaining an even flow of production.
- Report equipment downtime or other extraordinary condition, and must notify supervision whenever such conditions occur.
- Responsible for ensuring correct entry and recording of their labor time.
- Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor and/or Department Manager.
- Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

Your profile
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.
- No relocation assistance is offered for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years or more of Manufacturing Experience
ENVIRONMENT
- Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
- New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends.
- The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.

The starting annual salary for this role is $50,994 a year.
