Summary of Role: ?
GlobalFoundries Fab 8 in Malta NY is looking for a motivated and skilled engineer to be a part of the Customer Engineering Team.? The primary responsibility in this role is end to end customer management starting from the introduction of new products into Fab 8 through the duration of the product lifecycle.
Essential Responsibilities:

Serve as the technical conduit from Customer Prototyping (NPI) to Product End of Life (EOL), ensuring crisp and clear engineering communication throughout the lifecycle.

Act as the primary liaison between the customer and Fab 8 teams (Production Control, Planning, Process Integration), aligning internal messaging and tracking On Time Delivery metrics.

Lead customer meetings, drive follow-ups on action items, and proactively resolve any issues that arise to maintain program momentum.

Collaborate with Account Managers, Field Application Engineers, and customers to achieve revenue goals and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
-
Education - Graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Science , Engineering, Semi-Conductor Manufacturing or a related discipline or equivalent military training or work experience.

Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.

Language Fluency - English - Written and Verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Prior related internship or co-op experience.
-
Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
-
Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Strong planning & organizational skills ?

Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
-
Experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
Expected Salary Range
$54,200.00 - $110,300.00
The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
