Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry | Day Shift

Location: Syracuse, NY 13210

Job Type: Contract | Local Candidates Only

Shift: 3×12-Hour Days (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Compensation: $47 - $50/Hour (Local Rate Only)

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for day-shift Telemetry assignments at a reputable acute care facility in Syracuse, NY . Ideal candidates will possess strong Med/Surg and Telemetry backgrounds and be familiar with high-acuity hospital environments. This opportunity is open exclusively to local candidates within the approved commuting radius.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients.

• Initiate IVs, draw labs, and safely interpret cardiac telemetry.

• Document and coordinate care using EPIC EMR.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.

• Comply with facility attendance standards, including weekends and holidays.

Licensure: Active New York State RN License (Required)

Experience:

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience within the last 2 years

• Must have prior experience in a hospital of equivalent or higher size and trauma level

• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience preferred

• EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred

Certifications: Current AHA BLS (Required)

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
