Cashier / Barista

We are currently seeking a Cashier / Barista to join our team in Poughkeepsie on a temp-to-hire basis. As a Barista, you will be responsible for making coffee drinks, operating and maintaining the espresso machine, and assisting customers with their orders. As a Cashier, you will take customer orders, deliver food and coffee, handle cash and the cash register, and maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant.
The ideal Barista candidate will have previous practice working as a barista, expertise of coffee drinks, and the capability to operate and maintain an espresso machine. You must also be willing to assist customers, bus tables, clean, and operate the cash register if needed. The ideal Cashier candidate will be willing to lgain how to operate the espresso machine and train as a barista.
This is a temp-to-hire position with a pay rate of $16-$17 per hour. Availcapability is required on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 7am-3:30pm.
