CNC Machine Operator
We are a premier, rapidly growing stone fabrication shop in Brooklyn, NY specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects. Our facility works with the finest granite, marble, and quartz, utilizing cutting-edge technology to deliver precision craftsmanship. As we scale our operations, we are looking for a skilled 5-Axis CNC SawJet Operator to join our team and help us maintain our reputation for excellence.
salary: $62,000 - $83,000 per yearshift: First

education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Setup and operate a 5-axis CNC SawJet (Blade + Waterjet combo) to cut slabs according to digital templates.
- Material Handling: Safely load and move slabs of granite, marble, and quartz using overhead cranes or vacuum lifters.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished pieces for accuracy, ensuring dimensions match shop drawings and polish/edges meet our quality standards.
- Maintenance: Perform daily machine calibration and routine maintenance to ensure the SawJet runs at peak performance.
- Problem Solving: Adjust feed speeds, water pressure, and tool paths on the fly to account for material variances (e.g., tension in quartz or veining in marble).
