Job Summary

We are seeking a CAD Drafter to join our team! As a CAD Drafter you will be working closely with other drafters as well as design teams to draft drawings in Cabinet Vision, Auto cad or another 3d modeling program to specifications that are detailed, accurate, and visually appealing. You will follow company CAD guidelines for all processes, including naming conventions, data storage, and layout standards. The ideal candidate has experience with CAD/CAM, excellent communication skills, and works well within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Take given specifications and draft accurate, attractive drawings


• Work closely with other members of the drafting team as well as design partners to verify accuracy and details


• Follow all company guidelines for best practices


• Track all time spent on projects accurately

Qualifications:

• Proficient in CNC Machine operations


• Proficient in knowing on how to build cabinets


• Exhibits knowledge of wood, metal, abrasives and finishing


• Knowledgeable of high-end carpentry woodworking and basic hand tools, such as, calipers and tape measures.


• Working with both processed and solid wood.

Additional job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate and review assigned tasks and report back to Management with questions, comments, feedback, and concerns.


• work to design, develop, create, and manage accurate CNC files for project using cabinet vision


• Study, analyze, and interpret drawings or specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequences of operations, and set up requirements


• Oversee material inventory to coincide with production cue.


• Updating job statuses and communicating completion of timelines.


• Collaborate with team members on a daily basis and demonstrate a continuous effort to improve efficiency of projects and property troubleshoot current/future design and build challenge.


• Ensure fabrication is done to our quality standards and in good timing.


• Must be able to lift 50lbs.


• Experience in CAD to CAM, Cabinet Vision and knowledge of AutoCad, Solidworks or Fusion


• Valid Drivers license & Forklift experience

Compensation: $57,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
