Registered Nurse Job Details
- Location: Albany, NY 12208 (New York nursing jobs)
- Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel Registered Nurse Contract)
- Start Date: September 29, 2025
- End Date: December 22, 2025
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour day shifts)
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-Call: Required 4 times per month
- Scrub Color: Navy blue
- EMR: Epic (Epic EMR experience required)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,450 - $2,510 per week
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (OR RN experience)
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation
- Demonstrated professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Compliance with facility dress code (navy blue scrubs)
- Deliver direct patient care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical healthcare team to provide high-quality clinical support
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
- Accurately document patient interactions and interventions in the Epic EMR system
- Respond to emergency situations and participate in scheduled on-call coverage
- Educate patients and families about perioperative care and recovery
