Those in financial due diligence at PwC will focus on providing strategic advice and business diligence services to clients in their mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. You will be responsible for analysing financial information focusing on quality of earnings and assets, cash flows and other key client deal issues.

The Opportunity
As part of the Financial Due Diligence team you lead the creation and implementation of impactful learning initiatives. As a Director you set the strategic direction, lead business development efforts, and oversee multiple projects while maintaining impactful executive-level client relations. You are also responsible for assessing the impact on earnings, assets, and cash flows of risks such as worker's compensation, products liability, and environmental liability.

What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8 years of experience

- Master's Degree in Business Administration/Management preferred
- Proficiency as a risk manager, underwriter, broker, or actuary

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrates proven expertise and success as a risk manager, underwriter, broker, actuary, or claims manager providing managerial and strategic insurance risk management advisory and merger and acquisition due diligence service. Demonstrates proven expertise and sustained success developing and managing internal and external client relationships and business development.Demonstrates proven expert-level abilities and success directing and leading efforts involving assessing the impact on earnings, assets, and cash flows of risks, such as the following: - Worker's compensation;- Products liability;Ê- General and audit liability;- Directors' and officers' liability;- Environmental liability;- Professional liability; and,- Surety. Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts, identifying and addressing client needs: - Developing and sustaining extensive client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; - Preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; - Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, collection. Demonstrates proven expert-level abilities and success as a team leader: leading teams to generate a vision, to establish direction and motivate members, as well as create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, to encourage improvement and innovation.

The salary range for this position is: $155,000 - $410,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
