Physician Assistant– Dermatology

Overview:

Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive, academic health system in central New York, and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full-time or part-time Physician Assistant to join our Division of Dermatology. Candidates must have at least one year of experience independently practicing dermatology to be considered for this opportunity.

Description:

Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school - based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

1. 3 Dermatologists, who include a Mohs surgeon and Teledermatologist, and 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians.
2. Dermatology experience preferred
3. Medical Dermatology with additional opportunities for Pediatric Dermatology, Procedural, Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology as desired
4. 25–30 patients per day, 5 clinical days
5. Outpatient practice
6. No call
7. Full support staff
8. Office locations in Cooperstown, Oneonta, Cobleskill, Delhi/Andes, Herkimer and Little Falls with the opportunity to select your primary location
9. Must be able to work in a team environment and independently
10. Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.

Job Qualifications

1. National Certification as a Physician Assistant.
2. NYS Licensure
3. BLS Certification Required
4. DEA Required
