Traveling Conveyor & Packaging Systems Service Technician
Is This You?
- Do you enjoy being on the road—often 80%+—solving problems in fast-paced distribution environments?
- Are you skilled at keeping automated conveyor, packaging, and distribution systems running?
- Can you read electrical schematics, perform PMs with clean documentation, and use CMMS tools?
- Are you comfortable lifting up to 49 lbs and standing/walking for up to 12-hour shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation?
What You’ll Tackle
- Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment
- Promote a culture of safety by following all safety procedures
- Complete preventative maintenance routines and document work accurately
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on MHE (belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more)
- Collaborate effectively across the operations facility
- Track and store department inventory

Preferred Profile
- 2+ years with automated conveyor systems and controls
- 2+ years repairing material handling equipment
- 2+ years conducting predictive and preventative maintenance
- 1+ years blueprint and electrical schematic reading
- 1+ year in electrical/electronic principles
- Experience applying MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and site safety requirements
- Project management experience
- Experience using a CMMS
- Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot basic input/output (I/O) functions
You’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency across these competencies to successfully perform the role.
