Production Specialist: Vote Processing & Logistics Do you love staying active and meeting daily goals? Our operations team is looking for a motivated individual to help us master the logistics of high-volume mail processing. This is a hands-on, position perfect for someone who enjoys staying organized while also working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work with a driven team where your efficiency, attention to detail and clear communication are essential for coordinating tasks that are key to our success.

salary: $18 - $18.01 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 4 AM - 12:30 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Sorter Operator:

• Utilizing high-speed production sorting equipment to prioritize inbound mail volume for processing through extraction and scanning.
• Catching mail in divert pockets based on priority level.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting sorter machine performance as necessary.

Extraction:

• Manually extract documents from inbound mail envelopes.
• Must be able to identify client identifiers in order to separate documents correctly in some instances.
• Preparing extracted documents for subsequent scanning processes.

Additional Duties

• Assisting with functions related to the Library (storage and retrieval of processed mail/documents).
• Handling and processing White Mail (unidentified or special correspondence).
• Managing Return Mail and UND (Undeliverable) Mail processes, ensuring proper logging and redirection.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Adhering to all departmental security and confidentiality protocols.

Preferred

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Attentive to evey detail; complete
• Ability to communicate properly in English.
• Basic computer literacy.
