Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operational Excellence, the General Manager holds duties related day-to-day operations of a designated client account. This position entails a need for excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, strong operational leadership and staff management skills and someone who is an outstanding relationship builder.
In this role, you will be assigned to various high profile client accounts primarily in the NYC region where you'll support day to day operations and various strategic initiatives; new account start ups, client/management transitions, etc. If you are a dynamic foodservice leader with strong business etiquette, you consistently enjoy new challenges and projects, and are looking to grow your management career, this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages daily operations of a high profile client account
- Maintains excellent relationships with customers, guests and clients. Collaborates interdepartmental to achieve desired outcomes.
- Oversees P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
- Conducts HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, terminations
- Oversees scheduling, payroll and team training
- Works with the Chef and culinary team to ensure top quality food
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of foodservice management experience
- Client relationship management skills
- Financial acumen and ability to manage reporting, budgeting, forecasting
- Relentless drive to provide outstanding hospitality and experiences for our client
