Overview

At Gallagher Re, we’re shaping the future of Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS). Our ILS team connects risk and capital through innovative solutions like catastrophe bonds and sidecars. Working globally, we collaborate with reinsurance brokers and institutional investors to deliver tailored strategies for our clients. This role is your chance to be part of a team that’s driving change in the ILS market.

How you'll make an impact

In this role, you’ll help lead the sales, distribution, and trading of ILS products in both primary and secondary markets. You’ll build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, educate them on the ILS asset class, and source capital for a variety of products. You’ll also work closely with structuring and origination teams to deliver results for clients.

Here’s what else you’ll do:

  • Provide pricing insights for ILS transactions.
  • Analyze market data and investor feedback to support sales efforts.
  • Prepare and edit presentations and materials for clients and investors.
  • Support the development of new products that create value for clients.
About You

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to analyze market data and investor feedback.
  • A proactive mindset and a team-focused attitude.
  • A genuine interest in the (re)insurance and capital markets industry.
  • Securities licensing (Series 7, 63, 79) or the ability to obtain these within 90 days of starting.

Gallagher Securities

The ILS team is part of Gallagher Re and operates through Gallagher Securities. Gallagher Securities provides strategic advice to clients on capital market products, including Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS), weather derivatives, capital raising, and selected mergers and acquisition (M&A) advisory activities. We offer a differentiated value proposition to clients operating in the reinsurance sector. Our ability to provide a truly comprehensive and coordinated suite of services is based on delivering Gallagher Securities’ established capital transaction capabilities in concert with analytical, actuarial, brokerage, rating agency, risk management consulting and other services from Gallagher.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
