Russian-Speaking Coordinator

Position Summary:

The coordinator will be assisting with coordination and operations of the Basic Needs Fund Program for Holocaust Survivors by following functions directly provided by management.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Assisting clients apply for the Basic Needs Fund

2. Ordering and distributing food gift cards to eligible and approved clients.

3. Assisting the program with outreach and reporting

4. Performs administrative entries.

5. Performing outreach and describe service offerings to Holocaust Survivor clients and refer them to appropriate HSP offices by borough of residency.

6. Track all contacts, payments and referrals

7. Answering phone calls and emails from a potential client

8. Administer any data entry task.

9. Completes any other assigned projects by Program Director

10. Any other assigned task by the supervisor

11. Adhere to organization's standards by completing annual mandatory trainings in a timely manner on topics including but not limited to Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, IT Security Awareness, Compliance, OSHA, HIPAA and any other training the organization may deem necessary in regard to regulatory compliance or good business practices.

12. Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationships with co-workers.

13. Adheres to the organization's policy regarding absenteeism and appearance

Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications:

1. Highschool diploma

2. Customer service experience preferred.

3. Must be able to communicate in Russian & English

4. Russian speaking required.

5. Computer proficient and capable of using Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.

Working Conditions/Physical Demand:

1. Ability to work in the office and work from home.

2. Training and orientation period will be in office Monday - Thursday, Friday from Home until informed otherwise.

3. Schedules will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM EST and Wednesday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM EST.
