Description:

The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for both manual and automated testing across multiple applications in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role involves reviewing user stories and requirements, designing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA peers to ensure high-quality software releases. The Software Test Engineer will contribute to regression testing, functional validation, and test automation development, and is expected to provide input during sprint planning.

• Analyze requirements and user stories to create clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Support backend ad configuration and testing within various platforms.
• Coordinate and guide other QA team members and interface directly with clients when needed.
• Execute manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members during sprint planning and daily standups.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software testing experience, including both manual and automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automation tools such as Robot Framework, Playwright, or Postman (for API testing).
• Understanding of social media campaign structures, performance metrics and experience navigating social media ad managers (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads) to test and validate advertising platform integrations is a plus.
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Rational, analytical, and logical with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with AI Quality tools and concepts around model testing/training is a plus.
• Team player, looking to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Rate:

$70,000-$100,000 base salary
