Family First Medical , a reputable and patient-focused medical practice in Brooklyn, is seeking a professional and detail‑oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality patient service. Both full‑time and part‑time schedules are available.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Manage patient check‑in and check‑out procedures
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain an accurate appointment calendar
• Verify insurance coverage and update electronic medical records (EMR)
• Collect co‑pays and assist patients with general billing inquiries
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• Coordinate with clinicians and staff to support smooth day‑to‑day operations
• Keep the front desk and waiting area clean, organized, and presentable

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office or administrative role preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus
• Professional demeanor, reliability, and punctuality
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Work Schedule

Full-Time: Approximately 35–40 hours per week
Part-Time: Flexible scheduling available, based on office needs
