Engagement Manager US - R&D Advisory

In this role, you’ll join the R&D Advisory Group within Syneos Health Consulting, where you will help make life science R&D organizations and operations more efficient and effective across research, clinical, regulatory, quality and pharmacovigilance. You will help organizations in times of change, whether that is driven by a change in operating model, strategy, processes, technology, or a combination of these. You will:
- Work with senior customer stakeholders to comprehend the customer’s business goals, processes, operations and expectations
- Develop customer proposals, demonstrating a clear understanding of the needs and objectives, approach and solution, plus the commercial construct to deliver projects
- Develop engagement strategies and plans, and present findings and recommendations to team members
- Conduct quality management oversight of project deliverables to ensure that content aligns to the customer’s business objectives and expectations
- Develop content to leverage in business development opportunities with prospective customers
- Actively build a network of potential customers by utilizing social media, attending seminars and conferences, and through referrals
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in life science or business
- Extensive experience in consulting management in the life sciences, pharmaceutical/biotech consulting industry, or equivalent industry role
- Experience working with one or more R&D operational roles either in industry or consulting
- Engagement management experience
- Strong presentation and business development skills
Desired Requirements:
- Master’s degree in life sciences or business
- Experience in Regulatory processes, operations and technology, Registration Information Management (RIM) and the implementation/business implications of RIM Suites (e.g., Veeva Vault)
- Experience of the organizational impact of other significant regulations (e.g., IDMP, EU CTR)
- Experience in clinical processes, operations and technology (e.g., Veeva, Oracle, Medidata) and the organizational impact of new clinical operating models (e.g., decentralized clinical trials (DCT))
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $X to $Y. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
