Following Buenos Aires and Miami Beach, Faena New York, will find its home at 500 West 18th Street, overlooking the High Line in a building designed by Bjarke Ingels Group. This latest opening will be synonymous with sophistication, glamour, breathtaking artwork, and cultural trendsetting. This opening will mark the resurgence of luxury nightlife experiences in New York with dynamic food and beverage venues and programming that will make Faena the ultimate destination for the sophisticated traveler to New York.

Living Room is a glamorous, night-only venue with outdoor space, serving bespoke and signature cocktails, crave-worthy small plates, and an eclectic wine list. Evenings come alive with nightly curated live music, artfully designed to enchant and inspire. The Living Room Runner is responsible for delivering food and beverages from the kitchen or bar to guests with speed, care, and accuracy. Runners ensure all dishes are presented correctly and support overall service rhythm by maintaining clear communication with servers and the culinary team.

This full-time position has an hourly rate of $18.00 plus tips.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver plates, beverages, and condiments to the correct tables in a timely manner

• Verify each item is correct according to guest order before delivery

• Communicate any delays or issues to servers and managers promptly

• Assist in clearing and resetting tables during service

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo and service stations

• Support side work, restocking, and silverware prep as needed

• 1+ year of restaurant or hospitality experience preferred

• Familiarity with food names, ingredients, and service etiquette

• Strong multitasking and time management skills

• Fast, efficient, and accurate with high-volume orders

• Detail-oriented with a focus on guest satisfaction

• Physical stamina and ability to maintain poise during peak service

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas

• Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces

• Remain active, constantly moving, or prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout work shift

• Medium Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of constantly moving objects, may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
