Product Manager, Performance
Vise is looking for a performance expert and business leader to own and drive the evolution of our performance analytics and investment operations systems. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of investment performance and attribution, who can work closely with the Vise Engineering team to ensure our platform meets the highest standards for data accuracy, analytics, and performance reporting. This role is onsite in NYC, in our SoHo office.
What you bring on day one
- 5+ years of relevant work experience and education that demonstrate strength in financial calculations.
- Strong understanding of performance measurement, portfolio attribution, portfolio analytics, and investment operations in equity, fixed income, alternatives, and derivatives.
- 3+ years of working with custodian (or similar) data feeds and portfolio accounting systems
- 3+ years of experience working with engineering teams, ideally within fintech, investment management, or financial technology, to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business impact.
What you will own
- Own the success of performance analytics as a product, continuously iterating based on user feedback and business needs.
- Architect Vise’s investment performance calculations infrastructure and functionality
- Define and document all procedures for daily custodial reconciliation
- Independently create prototypes for all performance-related deliverables and processes
- Partner with Engineering and Investment Operations to define and execute a roadmap that enhances performance reporting, data integrity, and analytics capabilities.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment between technical execution and business goals.
- Develop and prioritize requirements to optimize performance measurement, portfolio insights, and investment data workflows.
- Work with engineering teams to scope, implement, and test new tools and features, ensuring scalability and accuracy.

Through the internal and market data Vise has collected, we expect the salary range for this position to be $150,000 - $250,000 per year, plus a competitive equity package. Your actual compensation will be determined based on your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Vise offers a wide range of comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits.
