Research Assistant, HBN

Position Details As part of the Healthy Brain Network team, you will report to Research Coordinator, HBN. You will will work directly with youth who have a wide range of psychiatric concerns, as well as their families. You will administer assessments spanning multiple domains including cognition, language, psychological function, social, emotional, behavioral, trauma, physical status, substance use, and neurological. You will also complete data scoring and entry and contribute to clinical and research reports. The Healthy Brain Network study Research Assistant position is a 2-year role providing the opportunity to learn novel forms of data collection from a research and clinical perspective. This is a non-exempt, full-time, hybrid position. This position requires a minimum of four (4) days per week in the office, on a schedule determined by your supervisor, located in our NYC, Harlem office. The in-office requirement and schedule are subject to change based on the needs of the program and the organization. You Will- Facilitate informed consent, enrollment, and data collection from participants and theircaregivers.
- Work directly with children and young adults ages 5-21 throughout study visits, ensuring a high-quality experience for participating families.
- Maintain accurate research records (both paper and electronic) for assigned caseload of participants.
- Score assessments and questionnaires, enter data into databases, and contribute data to clinical feedback reports.
- Support diverse teams with data quality control.
- Protect personal and sensitive information.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned
- B.S. / B.A. in Neuroscience, Education, Psychology, or other related fields.
- 1+ year previous clinical and/or research experience.
- 2+ years experience working with children in a professional setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the regulations on human subjectprotection, Good Clinical Practice and other clinical research guidelines.
- Broad knowledge of assessments used in educational evaluations (e.g. cognitivetesting, academic/speech testing), psychological research (e.g. social emotionalquestionnaires).

Pay Range The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range.
