Genius Gems STEM Preschool Lead Teacher

Genius Gems, LLC (www.geniusgems.com) is a STEM-based experience for kids and adults in Millburn, NJ. We offer a fast-paced, exciting environment where employees can, if they choose, pursue additional opportunities that interest them, such as engineering and design, robotics and coding, social media, marketing or community events.

We are seeking enthusiastic STEM preschool teachers or assistant teachers to join our growing team of 20+ innovative professionals. We are seeking an in-person teacher to lead our Monday and Tuesday morning preschool STEM drop off programs.

STEM Teacher Position

• Lead (or co-lead) our preschool STEM program on Monday and Tuesday mornings. 
• Work with the CEO to design curricula.
• Gather materials and test out new project ideas. 
• Help promote and grow our program from 2 days to 3, 4 or 5 days. 
• Test our new robots and assist in reviewing new materials.
• Tidy space and prepare materials as needed. 
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

• A degree in education and/or experience with early childhood education is highly preferred, but not required.

Transport: free on-site parking; about a 7 min. walk to Millburn train station; #70 NJ Transit bus stops right in front of our location.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Academic Credit: Interns only, upon request & with university permission.

Compensation: Yes, competitive and commensurate with experience.
