Accounts Payable Consultant
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Consultant in New York, NY. Duties Include:
- Enter and process invoices
- Process ACH and wire payments (manual process)
- Code and reconcile credit card transactions
- Handle ad hoc and miscellaneous payments
- Manage and maintain AP inbox and vendor communications
- Process approximately 75 payments per week (~500/month)
- Pull reports and assist with basic financial analysis
- Support AP operations across multiple entities and currencies (global exposure)
- Assist with light journal entries and general ledger support
- AP or staff accounting background
- Strong understanding of debits and credits (including light journal entries)
- High learning agility and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; Able to follow direction and execute independently
- Proven reliability, professionalism, and strong soft skills (critical for success in this environment)
- Experience working in a global environment (multi-entity, multi-currency)
- Experience with NetSuite
