Floor Manager

Saigon Social is a cozy, community-driven Vietnamese restaurant in the Lower East Side, serving bold, comforting food with a strong focus on hospitality and culture. We’re a tight-knit team that cares deeply about what we do - and we’re looking for a Floor Manager who wants to be part of building something special.

This is a hands-on role for someone who leads from the floor, isn’t afraid to jump in wherever needed, and knows how to keep a team focused, supported, and moving during a busy service.

• Running the floor during service - setting the tone, pacing the room, and keeping things flowing
• Leading and supporting the FOH team (servers, hosts, bartenders) in real time
• Training and coaching staff to deliver warm, consistent, and thoughtful service
• Being the go-to person for guest interactions - handling anything from a quick table touch to resolving issues smoothly
• Communicating closely with the kitchen to keep service tight and organized
• Jumping in where needed (expo, running food, resetting tables, etc.)
• Keeping the space clean, organized, and dialed in at all times
• Helping with scheduling, inventory, and general day-to-day operations

• 2+ years in NYC restaurants, with some leadership experience
• Someone who leads by example - not just manages from the sidelines
• Strong instincts on service, pacing, and guest experience
• Calm under pressure and solution-oriented during busy shifts
• Clear communicator who can motivate a team without ego
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Flexible availability (nights + weekends are a must)
• Interest in growing into a larger management role
