Diesel Equipment Repair Mechanic- Full Time

Family owned since 1971, Townline Equipment has an opening in our Service Department for a Diesel Service Technician at our Greenville, New York store. This is a full-time mechanic position that offers a great wage, an excellent benefit package, a great work environment and the opportunity for growth.

*Duties include*

* Performing repairs & routine maintenance on Kubota tractors and construction equipment, other brands of diesel tractors, and on a wide range of implements
* Assembling tractors, construction equipment, and implements
* Preparing new equipment for sale.
* Running diagnostic tests & interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions
* Conducting road service calls as needed
* Other duties as required by management (i.e. company vehicle maintenance, loading/unloading equipment, assisting with preparing customer estimates, etc.)

*Requirements:*

* Strong mechanical skills
* Knowledge of major mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems found in the type of diesel equipment we sell
* Superior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Basic knowledge of computer systems & other relevant electronics
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Good communication skills
* Valid driver's license
* Experience as an auto technician or heavy truck mechanic would work well with this position
* Pay dependent on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
