- Orientation and credentialing requirements: RN modules approximately 12–15 hours (non-billable)

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients, including monitoring and assessment
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions; document care and responses
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, contribute to care plans, and update physicians and team
- Recognize changes in patient condition; respond to emergencies and assist with procedures as needed
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Float to other units as staffing needs and credentialed skillset require

Requirements
- Active New York RN license; submit recent Nursys along with application
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience
- Relias EKG exam required within 72 hours of signing; 100% pass is the target; remediation may be allowed per facility discretion
- Ability to float within the hospital according to skillset and manager discretion
- Local radius restrictions: candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Saratoga; excluded counties include Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Albany, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster
- Healthstream and other required modules: all must be completed by 7 a.m. on the Wednesday prior to start (except TB testing, Orientation Checklist, and Stroke Policy)
- Submit SSN, DOB, certifications, recent Nursys, and references as part of submission
