This is a high-impact, foundational role where you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a brand-new product that will transform how legal professionals draft, negotiate, review, and manage contracts using AI. You will work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology and complex legal workflows, building something that doesn't yet exist.This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, deep product sense, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while driving toward clear outcomes. You will partner closely with engineering, design, legal experts, and go-to-market teams to bring this product from concept to market.What You'll DoDefine and own the product vision for Harvey's Contracts product, establishing the strategic direction from the ground upLead 0-to-1 product development, taking the product from initial concept through alpha, beta, and general availabilityDeeply understand customer workflows by engaging directly with law firms, in-house legal teams, and enterprise customers to uncover pain points in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and lifecycle managementTranslate legal domain expertise into product requirements, working with legal engineers and subject matter experts to build AI-powered features that resonate with sophisticated legal professionalsDrive cross-functional alignment across engineering, design, research, legal, and GTM teams to ensure successful product development and launchDefine success metrics and measure impact, establishing KPIs for adoption, utilization, and customer value creationShape product packaging and positioning in partnership with product marketing to ensure clear value propositions for different customer segmentsIdentify and prioritize features based on customer feedback, competitive landscape, and technical feasibilityBuild and iterate rapidly, embracing an agile approach in a fast-moving startup environment where the product roadmap evolves quicklyWhat You HaveMust-Have Qualifications:8+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in 0-to-1 product developmentDemonstrated success launching new products from scratch and scaling them to meaningful adoptionStrong technical fluency and ability to collaborate deeply with engineering teams on complex AI/ML-powered productsExperience working with enterprise B2B customers, ideally in legal tech, SaaS, or professional servicesExceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear product strategiesOutstanding communication skills-ability to present to executive audiences, influence without authority, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholdersComfort with ambiguity and a proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth startup environmentsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with legal technology, contract lifecycle management (CLM), or products serving legal professionalsUnderstanding of legal workflows, contract negotiation processes, and the challenges faced by legal teamsJD or prior experience working closely with lawyers is a plusExperience with AI/ML products, particularly generative AI or large language modelsBackground in platform or ecosystem-level product thinkingCompensation$213,600 - $300,000 USDDepending on your location, an
