Yard Jockey- CDL C Drivers
Our team is seeking a dedicated CDL C Driver to join our workforce. Monday-Friday 1st shift but must be flexible for afternoon availability $25-$27an hour ( Based on experience- flexible )

work hours: 6 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required Responsibilities
- Operate yard tractor and/or Class C vehicles to move trailers within the facility yard, including positioning at dock doors for loading and unloading
- Coordinate closely with Shipping, Receiving, and Production teams to ensure timely trailer availability based on production schedules
- Perform trailer spotting, docking, and repositioning to support inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report mechanical or safety issues immediately
- Verify trailer conditions meet food safety standards (cleanliness, no contamination, proper sealing) prior to loading
- Ensure trailers are properly secured using wheel chocks, trailer stands, and lockout/tagout procedures as required
- Maintain accurate yard logs, trailer inventories, and movement records (manual or system-based)
- Follow all company safety policies, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), OSHA guidelines, and DOT regulations
- Keep yard organized and audit-ready, ensuring clear traffic lanes and proper trailer placement
- Support internal audits and inspections related to safety and food safety compliance
- Assist with additional warehouse or sanitation-related tasks as needed
