Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable / Junior Accountant to join their finance team. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process while supporting general accounting and month-end close activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to gain broad exposure in a dynamic environment. What You’ll Do
Accounts Payable
- Process and code vendor invoices (2-way & 3-way matching)
- Prepare and execute vendor payments (ACH, wire, check)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Review employee expense reports for policy compliance
- Serve as point of contact for vendor payment inquiries
- Post journal entries and assist with accruals
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Support accounts receivable and invoicing as needed
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
- Prepare account reconciliations and audit support schedules
- Associates or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of accounting or AP experience
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
- Solid understanding of debits/credits and GAAP fundamentals
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
