Structured Finance Counsel

Of Counsel - Structured Finance / Transactions

We're currently working with a top tier, global firm who are looking for an experienced Senior Associate or Of Counsel to join their expanding Structured Finance division, based in either New York or Boston.

Benefits:

• Top-of-market compensation available, up to $435,000 for senior and more for Counsel
• Full benefits package including 401k, PTO, and parental leave
• Yearly bonuses based on performance
• Opportunity to step up to or move laterally into a Counsel position with a leading global firm

Responsibilities:

• Lead execution of complex structured finance and securitization transactions , managing all phases from structuring through closing.
• Advise clients on transaction structure, documentation, and regulatory issues across a range of asset-backed and financing products.
• Oversee junior lawyers and coordinate with counterparties and deal participants to ensure efficient, timely execution

Requirements:

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials and admission to relevant state bar.
• Significant experience in corporate/finance transactions , preferably with structured finance, securitization, or capital markets exposure (RMBS, ABS, CLOs a plus).
• Proven ability to manage complex deals, mentor junior lawyers, and interact effectively with clients and counterparties .
