Bartender

Coco’s is the restaurant within the members-only club Colette, located on the 37th Floor of the General Motor's Building overlooking Central Park.

We are currently seeking an energetic, passionate and highly skilled Bartender to join our dynamic and growing team!

Coco's is currently open Monday-Saturday and closed on Sundays.

DAILY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In depth knowledge of wines, classical cocktails, mixology, and industry trends.
• Superb attention to detail and steps of service.
• Ability to handle multiple drink orders, while engaging bar customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in the bar area dining room and all service stations always.
• Maintain a good working relationship with others by promoting teamwork and fostering a harmonious working climate.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
• Prepare ingredients for the beverage program

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support and maintain high luxury standards of service and creating a calm and private and inclusive environment for all guests and Team Members.
• Maintain clear communication between all Team Members within to ensure consistency, transparency, and unity.
• Assist and maintain all guest requests, comments, and concerns in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Ensure high levels of cleanliness, health, and safety standards for guests and fellow Team Members.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• A strong sense of urgency 
• Superior communication skills (both written and spoken) 
• A focus on hospitality and guest rapport alongside development of a regular clientele 
• A rigorous attention to detail.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift, push, items, equipment, and packages of up to 50 lbs.
