Job Description
The Labor & Employment Strategy & Analytics team partners across NBCUniversal to deliver data‑driven insights that inform labor negotiations, enhance workforce metrics and reporting, and strengthen key labor and workplace initiatives. We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about transforming complex data into actionable strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide cross-functional analytical support to Labor Relations, Fair Employment and Workplace Initiatives, Employment Law, and other Labor & Employment client groups
- Develop and enhance financial models to support Labor Relations negotiations across Entertainment, Broadcast, and Parks
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, Operations & Technology, and other stakeholders to understand business processes and collect relevant data
- Gather, prepare, and synthesize information for AMPTP, union, and internal reporting requests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Translate complex data into clear narratives, delivering insights, trends, and recommendations to senior leaders and cross-functional partners
- Build and maintain presentations and dashboards to share key insights and improve stakeholder visibility into labor and workforce trends
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows, enhance data integrity, automate reporting, and optimize case management system performance
- Support technology initiatives, including system design, testing, implementation, data validation, and migration
- Lead or contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses as business needs evolve
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data modeling, visualization, and reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling) and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Solid communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership
Desired Characteristics:
- Proficiency with Power BI (including DAX) and Microsoft Access, with the ability to build and maintain analytical models and dashboards.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts, including the ability to query, extract, join, and analyze data across multiple systems or datasets.
- Experience with case management and project management tools
This position has been designated as hybrid , which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
