Project Engineer

Project Engineer needed in Bronx, NY: Vibranalysis Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering and monitoring projects to ensure technical accuracy, timely execution, and compliance with client objectives. The Project Engineer will have the ability to develop and implement monitoring plans across structural, environmental, and geotechnical domains, manage instrumentation layouts, configure data acquisition systems, and oversee reporting. This role requires both technical expertise and project management skills to ensure successful project delivery. Vibranalysis Inc. is a premiere consultant, providing a wide range of instrumentation and monitoring services to general contractors, construction management companies, engineering firms, building owners, developers, excavators, and demolition companies. Our services span all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction risk assessments and inspections to ongoing monitoring of vibration, noise, air quality, structural integrity, and environmental impacts. We also provide specialized services in concrete testing, special inspections, and progress inspections. Duties and Responsibilities will include: Develop project work plans, instrumentation layouts, and technical drawings to meet project objectives and site conditions. Select appropriate sensors and configure data acquisition systems for real-time monitoring of vibration, noise, air quality, crack propagation, strain, and structural deformation. Oversee field installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables; coordinate with field technicians, contractors, and client representatives to ensure smooth execution. Analyze monitoring data, set up thresholds for detecting early warning signs, and prepare comprehensive reports with technical interpretations and recommendations. Support construction and project management functions by providing engineering insights, risk assessments, and technical documentation. Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices across all phases of the project. General, Minimum Requirements: * Masters degree in engineering management, Civil Engineering, or a directly related field (or foreign equivalent). Special Requirements: * Academic training or experience must have included systems engineering, data analysis, instrumentation and construction monitoring concepts, and project management * Knowledge of data acquisition, monitoring systems, and engineering data analysis, including the ability to apply these concepts using platforms such as Eagle.io, Aeroqual, Thor, or comparable real-time data management systems. * Proficiency or academic exposure to engineering and project tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, Procore, MS Excel, and Adobe.
