Senior Associate, Financial Analysis - Offers & Shopping

Join the Offers & Shopping Finance team within the Consumer & Community Banking Connected Commerce Finance organization at JPMorganChase for an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver robust financial analysis and business support for the Offers and Shopping business.
As a Financial Analysis Senior Associate in the Offers & Shopping Finance team, you will drive financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term modeling. You will present clear and actionable financial reports, and recommendations to senior management. Additionally, you will oversee the preparation and reconciliation of accounting and technical data, maintain and improve financial reporting systems, and champion process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in cross-functional initiatives, monitor key performance indicators, and ensure strong financial controls and compliance. You will also support team members on special projects, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities
- Drive the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process for the Offers & Shopping business, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Develop and present executive-level materials to support month-end close processes.
- Contribute in cross-functional initiatives to evaluate and implement new business opportunities, leveraging market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling to inform decision-making.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates and insights to leadership to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure robust financial controls and compliance, partnering with risk, audit, and other control functions as needed to maintain the integrity of financial processes and reporting.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature
- 4+ years of work experience in Financial Services with a background in Finance, Business Management, Planning & Analysis, Accounting/Controller or similar fields.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data sets
- Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management
- Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines
- Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skill, strong analytical and problem solving skills
