Coordinator, Inventory

Duties: About the Role: We are seeking a Temporary Inventory Coordinator to support our merchandise operations by ensuring accurate inventory counts, compliance with packing and labeling standards, and on-time processing in coordination with our third-party warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience in warehouse receiving and inventory management. Responsibilities: Track and report on inventory accuracy, stock levels, and receiving status to internal teams. Assist in resolving inventory variances by reconciling warehouse reports with internal inventory data. Support cycle counts and periodic inventory reconciliations as needed. Conduct inventory audits to verify quantities received against packing lists and system records. Ensure merchandise is properly labeled, packed, and organized according to company compliance standards. Work with warehouse partners to ensure all received inventory is systemically ingested and available for fulfillment in a timely manner. Verify and ensure correct SKU labeling and barcoding to avoid discrepancies in inventory management systems. Escalate any discrepancies, damages, or non-compliance issues to the Operations Manager for resolution.

SOX compliance knowledge Qualifications & Skills: Experience: 1 3 years of inventory management, or logistics experience (merchandise or retail industry preferred). Strong understanding of inventory control processes and SKU tracking. Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) is a plus. Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordination with cross-functional teams. Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed during inventory tasks. Occasional overtime based on inventory demands.

Education: Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
