Ronsco, Inc. is a leading drywall and acoustical contractor in New York City, specializing in commercial, data center/mission critical, healthcare and hospital projects . With more than 65 years of experience, we are known for quality, precision, and reliability. We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Junior Estimator to support our project management and estimating teams on some of NYC’s most dynamic construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with project coordination, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate material and labor estimates.
• Prepare bid packages and coordinate subcontractor/vendor pricing.
• Track project costs, budgets, and progress reports.
• Support jobsite walkthroughs, meetings, and safety documentation.
• Maintain organized records, logs, and digital project files.
• Communicate daily with superintendents, vendors, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in construction, estimating and project coordination (internships count).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Pro Core and estimating software (On-Screen / Quick Bid a plus).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
