Soaked Bar is hiring Beverage Specialists to be part of our Founding Team in NYC.

Soaked Bar is looking for a reliable, organized, and wellness-minded Smoothie & Beverage Associate to join our growing team in New York City.

Soaked Bar is a dessert brand built around bold flavors, quality ingredients, and a thoughtful guest experience. As we grow into our next chapter, our space will bring together our signature tres leches cake station and a wellness-forward smoothie and beverage bar.

This role will support daily smoothie and beverage production, including ingredient prep, blending, stocking, cleaning, organizing, and helping maintain consistency across every drink. We’re looking for someone who moves with urgency, works cleanly, follows recipes carefully, and has an interest in smoothies, wellness ingredients, fresh produce, and functional foods.

This is a hands-on role focused on preparation, production, cleanliness, and station readiness. The right person should be excited to grow with a young brand and help build a beverage program from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Smoothie & Beverage Production

• Prepare smoothies and beverages according to Soaked Bar recipes and standards.
• Wash, cut, portion, and organize fruits and other smoothie ingredients.
• Measure ingredients carefully to maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation.
• Assist with prepping smoothie bases, toppings, add-ons, garnishes, and wellness ingredients.
• Support the execution of seasonal drinks, specials, and new beverage menu items.
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality.

Station Setup & Organization

• Set up the smoothie and beverage station before service.
• Keep ingredients, cups, lids, straws, tools, blenders, and supplies stocked throughout the shift.
• Maintain organized refrigeration, freezer, and dry storage areas.
• Label, date, rotate, and store ingredients properly.
• Communicate when ingredients, packaging, or supplies are running low.

Cleanliness & Food Safety

• Clean and sanitize blenders, tools, counters, prep areas, and storage areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace throughout the shift.
• Help reduce waste through proper prep, storage, and rotation.

Team Support

• Work closely with the founders and team members to support smooth daily operations.
• Assist the cake station, front counter, or packaging area when needed.
• Bring a positive, team-first attitude to each shift.
• Be open to feedback, training, and learning Soaked Bar’s standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a smoothie bar, juice bar, café, kitchen, prep, or food production environment preferred.
• Interest in wellness ingredients, fresh produce, smoothies, and functional foods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes carefully.
• Clean, organized, and able to work with urgency.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Food Handler Certificate preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds when needed.

You do not need to know everything, but you should be eager to learn, open to feedback, and excited to help shape Soaked Bar’s smoothie and beverage program as we grow.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour plus tips, based on experience and skill level.

Additional Information

This role may evolve as Soaked Bar grows. Team members may be asked to support other areas of the business when needed.
