Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time Rotating 12-Hour Shifts (8 AM - 8 PM)
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position working rotating 12-hour shifts (8 AM – 8 PM). Every other weekend is required. This role will function as a cart nurse across two floors, providing direct patient care and ensuring continuity of services. The RN will play a key role in maintaining clinical excellence and supporting a team-based care model.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as assigned (cart nurse responsibilities)
- Provide direct nursing care and monitor patient conditions
- Work across two floors to support resident care needs
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and providers
- Respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies
Requirements
Active RN license in the state of New York
Current CPR certification
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities across units
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
