Licensed Site Safety Manager

Title: DOB Licensed Site Safety Manager Project: Stephen and Christine Schwarzman Animal Medical Center Location: Manhattan, NY Duration: 1 Month, starting April'26 Role And Responsibilities- Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are clearly communicated and followed by all personnel on-site.
- Conduct and document daily safety inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Immediately address and correct unsafe conditions or practices.
- Maintain all required DOB documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and inspection records.
- Coordinate and communicate with DOB inspectors and ensure site is always inspection-ready.
- Conduct safety orientation for all new workers and ensure appropriate certifications (e.g., OSHA, SST cards) are on file.
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or other related field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 7 years' experience in safety management of Major Capital Construction Projects, including Heavy Civil Construction.
- Applicants must possess a valid driver's license.
- Working knowledge of construction safety standards, OSHA regulations, and all state and local regulations.
- Must have Construction Site Fire Safety Manager (S-56) license
