Location: New York, NY, 10035
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7 Hours per Day
Hours: 35 Hours per Week
Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition assessment, counseling, and care planning for patients in a healthcare setting. The role involves working with clinical teams to support patient recovery through individualized diet plans and nutritional guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ nutritional needs and dietary status
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
- Monitor food and medication interactions
- Collect dietary history and patient preferences
- Review lab results and clinical data for nutrition planning
- Provide nutrition education to patients and families
- Collaborate with healthcare team for diet modifications
- Update patient menus based on clinical needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work in a healthcare team environment
- Knowledge of nutrition care standards and guidelines
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field
- Previous hospital or clinical experience
- BLS certification
