Medical Assistant
NY Partners in Health is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients and visitors in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner
- Obtain patient medical history and perform basic testing as needed
- Support clinical and administrative workflows to help ensure efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required
- Ability to speak Spanish, Cantonese, or Fujianese is strongly preferred
- Availability to work some weekends is required
- High school diploma, GED, or higher
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical insurance is a plus
