Our client is a real estate firm. They seek a temp to perm Property Accountant to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reporting to clients
• Provide management with supporting documentation
• Draft and review Bank Reconciliation reports
• Record new leases and amendments to existing leases
• Assist with monthly tenant billing
• Handle the month-end close of all cash management
• Perform analysis of balance sheet accounts
• Assist with the monthly review of financial statements and year-end audits
• Create ad hoc reports as requested by management
• Aid in the annual operating expense reconciliations/estimates

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Residential experience preferred but not required
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Skilled in Yardi and Excel
