About the Role:
We’re looking for a friendly and welcoming person to join our team as a maitre’d. This role provides a great opportunity to be part of a Fort Greene restaurant group focused on hospitality and community.

Our ideal candidate has experience using Resy and has previously worked as a maitre'd in a high volume restaurant with significant walk in and waitlist covers. However, we are open to training the right candidate with professional experience that they believe would translate well into the role. This is not an entry level position and previous work experience is required in high level hospitality or another customer facing industry.

It is a great opportunity for a professional looking for part time work in an energetic hospitality focused space or an experienced restaurant professional looking for a part time role. We are looking for a candidate with flexible availability, who is available to work across both weekdays and weekends. Shifts run from ~4 pm to 10 pm for dinner and 10:30 am to 3 pm for brunch, allowing for some flexibility to accommodate other professional engagements.

About Us:

We are a vibrant Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of Fort Greene. Our guests come from as close as next door and as far as across the country. We are honored to have served the Fort Greene community for 8 years. We have a small and carefully chosen team, and seek candidates who are serious about hospitality. 

Physical Requirements:

• Be able to stand for extended periods of time [over 7 hours]
• Be able to lift and carry 50 pounds steadily 
• Be comfortable bending, sitting, walking extended distances including up and down flights of stairs, and moving. 
• Be comfortable walking up and down stairs frequently, including while carrying large containers
