Senior Tax & Accounting Generalist (New York)

BA Global Talent is seeking On-Site Senior Tax & Accounting Generalist to join a boutique Certified Public Accounting firm based in New York . This is an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded accounting professional with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns and support tax-related client needs.

• Perform general accounting functions, including bookkeeping and payroll.

• Respond to tax notices and assist with client inquiries.

• Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining high-quality service.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.

• Conduct research and resolve tax and accounting issues independently.

• Take ownership of assigned accounts and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.

• Provide visibility and updates regarding client accounts and project status.

• Assist with general accounting, advisory, and client service projects.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to firm growth.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accounting (CPA) required.

• A minimum of 5 years of tax and accounting experience.

• Strong expertise in tax preparation, accounting, and bookkeeping.

• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience building and managing client relationships.

• Strong problem-solving skills, accountability, and ownership mindset.

• Desire for professional growth and advancement.

Schedule: Full-time.
