Lead Server

Aita is looking for a charismatic and hospitality-driven server to join our team.

Established in 2012, Aita is a neighborhood Italian restaurant in Clinton Hill focused on seasonal cooking, thoughtful wine, and genuine hospitality. We strive for professionalism and attention to detail while maintaining a warm, welcoming atmosphere for both guests and staff.

We are seeking a front-of-house professional with at least 2 years of NYC serving experience, preferably in fast-paced neighborhood restaurants. Passion, focus, and teamwork are essential.

We value kindness, curiosity, and genuine hospitality as much as experience.

• Deliver warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service throughout the dining experience
• Guide guests through food and beverage menus with confidence and enthusiasm
• Maintain a strong understanding of our food, wine, beer, spirits, and cocktail offerings
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and fellow team members
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your section before, during, and after service
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
• Support a positive, team-oriented culture at all times

• Minimum 2 years of NYC serving experience
• Experience in neighborhood-focused, fast-paced restaurants preferred
• Strong interest in food, wine, and hospitality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend continuously for extended periods
