Dining Room Manager

An award-winning restaurant group in NYC is seeking a talented and experienced Dining Room Manager. We are currently seeking a Dining Room Manager who shares our passion for hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and leads with a collaborative, hands-on style. The Dining Room Manager will work closely with the General Manager and leadership team to ensure that service standards are consistently upheld while fostering an engaged, motivated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and mentor the Front of House team to uphold company’s high standards of service.

• Provide clear communication, constructive feedback, and performance coaching to build a culture of professionalism and growth.

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment that reflects company’s culture and values.

Guest Experience

• Ensure every guest receives warm, attentive, and seamless service.

• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.

• Build and maintain strong guest relationships, encouraging repeat visits.

• Act as a visible presence on the floor, setting the tone for service and hospitality.

Operational Excellence

• Support the GM in daily operations, including scheduling, timekeeping, and floor management.

• Oversee dining room setup, cleanliness, and overall readiness for service.

• Monitor food and beverage quality in partnership with the culinary and bar teams.

• Ensure compliance with Department of Health (DOH) regulations and maintain a safe, clean environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous management experience in a high-volume, fine dining or Michelin-recognized restaurant.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• A passion for hospitality, with a guest-first mindset.

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Understand that we require a positive and respectful attitude in the workplace.
