Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable, customer-focused Marijuana Budtender to join our growing team. As a Budtender, you will provide exceptional service, guide customers in selecting products that meet their needs, and help ensure a positive, educational, and enjoyable dispensary experience.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with state regulations
• Guide customers in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences, needs, and experience level
• Provide accurate and helpful information about strains, products, effects, benefits, and methods of consumption
• Educate customers on safe and responsible cannabis use
• Operate cash registers and handle payments accurately
• Maintain inventory levels and restock sales floor as needed
• Keep the dispensary clean, organized, and presentable at all times
• Follow all security procedures to prevent theft or unauthorized access
• Uphold all state and regulatory compliance requirements

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional phone etiquette
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems preferred
• Multilingual abilities are a plus (English proficiency required)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• General knowledge of cannabis strains and products is helpful but not required—training provided
• Must be 21 years of age or older (per NYS regulations)
• Must be able to work in person at our New Paltz location
• Individuals with prior justice involvement are encouraged to apply

Schedule

• Day or night shifts
• 3–8 hour shifts
