Print Production Specialist

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly capable, detail-oriented Print Production Specialist who can independently manage:
- Prepress preparation
- UV flatbed printer operation
- File setup and RIP management
- Color consistency and quality control
- Routine and preventative maintenance
- Print workflow organization
This person will act as the owner of the print function inside our manufacturing operation.
You must be comfortable working independently, solving problems, and maintaining professional production standards in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years experience operating UV flatbed printers
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, etc. (required)
- Experience with RIP software (Onyx, Caldera, etc.)
- Experience printing on rigid substrates
- Strong understanding of white ink layering, adhesion issues, substrate compatibility, and pantone matching
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Preferred Experience
- Experience in POP / retail display printing
- Experience in luxury brand color standards
- Experience with CNC + print workflow coordination
- Basic understanding of ICC profiles
- Light troubleshooting of electrical/mechanical components
