Job Description
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
- Provide legal counsel on acquisitions, sales, and development projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for real estate matters.
- Support litigation and dispute resolution related to real estate issues as needed.
- Advise clients on zoning, land use, and environmental considerations.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all legal documentation and filings.
- Stay updated on changes in real estate laws and regulations to provide informed guidance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active admission to the New York Bar.
- Strong knowledge of real estate law, including contracts, zoning, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A collaborative approach to working with teams and clients.
