You’re never working alone.

Each classroom includes:

• A Special Education Teacher
• Multiple Teacher Assistants
• Ongoing support from a BCBA and Educational Supervisor

You’ll also collaborate regularly with:

• Speech Language Pathologists
• Occupational Therapists
• Physical Therapists

• School-year schedule + 6-week summer program
• No nights or weekends
• Predictable hours
• Full-Time: 8:00–3:30
• Part-Time: 8:30–2:30
• Per Diem: Set hours that work for you
• Time off aligned with the school calendar

What Your Days Will Look Like

This is an active, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will:

• Support students’ individualized learning and behavior goals
• Use ABA-based teaching strategies
• Collect data to track student progress
• Assist with classroom activities
• Collaborate closely with teachers and BCBAs
• Respond to challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based approaches
• Contribute meaningfully to team discussions and student growth

Compensation & Benefits

• $16–$19 per hour (based on placement, experience, and education)
• Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem opportunities available

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Experience with children or individuals with autism (preferred)
• New York State Teacher Assistant Certification
