Lead Sales Representative

Location: Melville, NY (On-Site)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire, Monday–Friday
Salary: $75,000 per year
Work Week: 34 hours plus bonus (TBD) and benefits.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Sales Representative with a strong background in credit card and payments processing to join our Melville team. This is an On-Site role where you will drive revenue, close merchant deals, and collaborate with the Risk Department to ensure account approvals.

Responsibilities:
• Drive revenue by closing new merchant accounts for credit card and payment processing
• Manage and onboard merchant applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with Risk to facilitate approvals and resolve underwriting concerns
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing merchants
• Present payment solutions and address merchant needs
• Guide merchants through the application and onboarding process
• Maintain organized sales records and proper documentation
• Contribute to team sales goals and support company growth initiatives

Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience
• Experience in credit card and payments processing
• Knowledge of merchant services, payment systems, and underwriting/risk considerations
• Experience onboarding merchant applications and working with risk/underwriting teams
• Proven track record of closing deals and driving revenue
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment
